The God Connection
It may seem strange to hear someone whose going through a hard time speak about rejoicing. But Paul’s attitude teaches us an important lesson – our inner attitudes don’t reflect out outward circumstances. He was full of joy because he knew that no matter what happened to him, Jesus Christ was with him. Ultimate joy comes through Jesus within us, and He who dwells within us will fulfill His purposes for us. Real peace and joy comes from knowing that because God is in control, our citizenship in His Kingdom is sure, our destiny is set and our victory is certain.

Why Prayer?
We know that prayer has unlimited benefits to the believer. The Word of the Lord tells us that if we "ask in [Jesus'] name, he will do it". John 14:14
It Works Both Ways
Prayer is a two way communication between God and His most precious creation (mankind). It allows us to build relationship with the LORD. It is then we have the opportunity to petition Him for all of our need.
